You will lead Nr. Vium Dairy, a modern facility with approximately 350 employees who, year-round, produce and pack 50,000 tons of yellow cheese for markets across the globe.
How you will make an impact:
As our new Senior Site Director, you will have overall responsibility for leading and overseeing daily production while continuously developing and growing Nr. Vium´s performance to ensure that we meet customer expectations, with health and safety always as the top priority.
Our new Senior Site Director will not only lead daily operations but also shape the future by driving digital transformation, talent development, and long-term strategic planning. We are looking for a visionary leader who brings more than production experience—someone who builds capabilities for tomorrow and aligns the site with Arla’s strategic direction.
You will be responsible for driving the people agenda as top priorities, while never losing sight of the need to have an outstanding product quality, an efficient operational setup, and being able to provide excellent service to our customers.
Reporting to the Senior Vice President for DK in Supply Chain, you will assume a key role on both a strategic and tactical level, and together with your colleagues in the leadership team, you will drive relevant cross-functional projects and ensure that the business plans for Nr. Vium are rolled out successfully.
The Senior Site Director has the overall responsibility:
- Site Leadership & Performance: Leading the dairy and ensure team success across the Arla Performance framework SQCDMP (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery Accuracy, Motivation, Planet)
- Strategic Direction & Planning: Developing and owning the Factory Strategic Plan (FSP) to set a clear direction for the site’s future which also includes assess and mitigate risks across the value chain, including crisis and continuity planning
- Leadership & Team Development: Leading a team of skilled leaders, and driving succession planning to ensuring future leadership readiness
- Digital Transformation & Innovation: Identifying and implementing digital solutions including AI, automation, and data-driven decision-making and leading Nr. Vium´s digital roadmap to improve operational efficiency and innovation
- Financial & Operational Excellence: Ensuring full overview of end-to-end product economics and implementing cost-efficiency measures
What will make you successful:
You hold a relevant university degree and have broad experience in manufacturing industries—preferably within food or dairy.
We imagine you come from a global, large-scale production site where you have delivered strong results through strategic leadership, operational excellence, and successfully growing and transforming the site to meet future demands. Alternatively, you may come from a consultancy background, where you have worked with supply chain transformation and implemented digital journeys in supply chain. This experience has given you a strong understanding of how to build the capabilities needed for tomorrow’s operations.
You have extensive leadership experience, you will set a clear, future-focused direction for Nr. Vium, Site towards new horizons with your influential leadership and substantial presence.
You are a proven senior leader with a solid track record in managing complex operations, driving continuous improvement (LEAN/Six Sigma), and leading CAPEX investments. You combine financial insight with a strategic mindset and are passionate about developing people, building talent pipelines, and securing future capabilities through succession planning.
This role requires fluent English and Scandinavian language communication skills, preferably Danish.
