Operation Manager - Troldhede Dairy

Ready to lead a strong team and drive performance at our successful dairy site that supplies markets across the world with the highest quality in White mould and speciality cheeses in Unika and Castello brand.

This is your chance to take a seat as part of a competent management team at our site in Troldhede. Here, you will play a key role in driving the performance at our production while delivering your part of an efficient value stream of the 6000 tonnes mould cheese we produce, pack and distribute to our global markets every year.

How you will make an impact

As our new Operations Manager in our Production department, you will step into a position with a major impact at our production area counting more than 40 employees. You will have the overall responsibility for production at Troldhede ensuring high performance in Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery accuracy, Motivation and Sustainability (SQCDMP). Furthermore, you will as a part of the Site Leadership Team, be a pivotal part of setting direction for the entire site.

Your task will also include:

• Lead your team of 2 team leaders, specialist and more than 40+ skilled and engaged  operators.
• You will ensuring a healthy, inclusive, and safe working environment at Troldhede
• Drive continuous improvements in your area of responsibility
• Be responsible for the overall performance (SQCDMP) of the production, including ‘Arla Foods Performance system’ – APS.
• Apply a strong and visible leadership in line with Our Culture
• Empower the team, ensuring full line- & area ownership  
• Collaborate closely with many stakeholders across site and the entire organisation in Arla Foods

You are able to drive a team oriented approach towards optimisations, while you keep an eye on the bigger picture. Also, you have a high level of self-motivation and you know how to overcome adversity when you face obstacles and setbacks.  Passion for making high quality cheese to supreme brands – along with a highly developed sense of humour would all be great assets.

Moreover, you:

• Are curious and challenge Status Quo by nature
• Understand the impact of role modelling from a leadership perspective
• Could have an academic/engineering background, with passion for business
• Know how to drive optimizations in a team-oriented manner
• Speak and write English and Danish effortlessly
