About the job

As our new Team Manager, you will be driving and executing scientist projects and supporting the business. A major part of the role will also be leading and developing knowledgeable technicians in the Bars and Bakery pilot at AFI in Viby.  

More specifically your main focus areas will be to;

• Lead, manage and develop the application technician team to secure a high level of motivation and skills in the team.
• Secure a consistently high standard of pilot plant equipment, including QA and safety standards.
• Coordinate and plan application pilot trials in collaboration with our highly skilled pilot technicians.
• Drive and initiate scientist projects and tasks independently.
• Contribute with strong knowledge on application solutions to customer opportunities, application and  NPD projects.
• Act as an application consultant in R&D projects within specific technical areas.

Your Team Manager profile

We expect you to have a Master's Degree with experience in applied science in the Food Industry and have good analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, it would be great if you have worked with project management.

As a leader, you possess the ability to motivate and inspire your employees, actively contributing to a work environment with a high team spirit and a knowledge sharing mindset. When driving projects across the organization, you utilize your great relationship and communication skills. You are driven by proactively finding better ways of doing things, meeting your desire to be both process and goal-focused.

The job requires that you thrive in being part of the pilot plant and that you like to handle requests and questions daily.

Finally, we expect you to be fluent in English, both verbally and in written communication.
