Arla Foods' insurance team holds global responsibility for insurance matters spanning all business units and functions. We are actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Transport Claims Specialist to take responsibility for our transport claims operation from the ground up, further developing the scope and processes.

Your Role in driving  a Global Transport Claims Function

Working closely with the Insurance Director, you will shoulder the responsibility of crafting Arla's transport claim's function. This entails close collaboration with insurance providers, suppliers, surveyors, and internal stakeholders. Your role will be highly autonomous, allowing you to define Arla's approach to claims handling within the broader global insurance strategy. Your key duties include:

• Developing a comprehensive claims strategy, emphasizing resource allocation and security.
• Maintaining and improving the efficient claims processing procedures for data integrity, security, precision, consistency, and compliance.
• Educating colleagues on claims procedures and marketing your service across Arla.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams for thorough claims assessments.
• Negotiating fair and effective claim settlements with insurers, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Maintaining claims records.
• Providing expert guidance on claims handling to internal stakeholders.
• Staying updated on industry regulations and best practices to enhance claim's function efficiency.

While transport claims management will be your primary focus, you will also gain exposure to other aspects of the insurance function.

Your profile

Ideally, you have accumulated several years of experience in transport claims handling, or alternative  as a freight forwarder with flair and interest in claims handling. Familiarity with transport law will be advantageous. You take pride in providing excellent service and aspire to become the foremost Arla expert in claims handling. Your innate drive to deliver results is complemented by strong collaborative abilities and structured approach, enabling you to effectively manage internal and external stakeholders and cultivate lasting relationships, thus ensuring success in all your endeavors.

Given our global operations, a high level of proficiency in spoken and written English is essential.
