Supply Chain Strategy Director, Group Strategy - Aarhus

How you will make an impact

As the Supply Chain Strategy Director, you will report directly to the Senior Director of Business Development & Strategy, with a dotted line to the Executive Vice President and Chief Supply Officer. You will be a member of the Global Supply Chain Leadership Team and the Strategy and Business development team.

You will lead a team of six highly skilled employees, focusing on supply chain business development both at the group level and within our core markets. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and converting strategies and ideas into actionable plans for Arla's supply chain organisation, aiming to drive long-term value for the business.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executives Support for Global SC Leadership Team: Assist in the annual business planning process for the supply chain, organise and facilitate leadership team meetings, and support the creation of executive presentations at both group and market levels
• Network Strategy Development: Take charge of creating and executing the strategy for the supply chain network across Europe and internationally. This involves setting clear goals for value creation and establishing a road map for implementation
• Supply Chain Strategy Execution: Develop and carry out the supply chain strategy as part of our corporate strategy, with a focus on network optimization, sustainability, quality, environment, health, and safety, among other crucial areas
• Leading transformational network Projects: Lead the development and execution of priority network projects, with an emphasis on fostering growth and streamlining operations
• Leadership of Supply Chain Strategy Team: Lead the supply chain strategy team by providing strong leadership, structure, coaching, and training. Focus on team development and motivation to effectively implement supply chain strategies and achieve strategic goals

The role is based in Aarhus with approx. 20-30 travel days a year.

What will make you successful

You possess an educational background at a Master's level, ideally in business or finance. You bring 6-8 years of experience in strategy consulting, having worked with a top-tier management consulting firm or gained relevant experience within a large fast-moving consumer goods company, such as Arla. Your expertise ideally includes comprehensive experience with full end-to-end supply chain management.

Your strategy consulting skills are exceptional, characterized by a structured approach to problem-solving. You excel in stakeholder management, with the ability to effectively persuade and collaborate across various levels of the organization. Your leadership skills are robust, demonstrating the capability to guide and inspire teams toward achieving strategic objectives. You are proactive and decisive, with outstanding communication skills that enable you to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.

Your level of drive lies far above average, and your can-do-attitude enables you to challenge the status quo and come up with ambitious solutions.
