About the job

We are looking for a Student Assistant to join us within the business area of Logistics Denmark. Becoming part of the Inbound Logistics organisation, you will contribute to enhancing data-driven decision-making efforts and optimizing processes, all while ensuring alignment with key stakeholders and business objectives within Inbound Logistics. Inbound Logistics is collecting 5 billion kg of milk every year from our 1750 farmers and bring it to our +20 dairies. With our 320 drivers and 100 trucks we make 8000 collections every week with our farmers. The operation is 24/7 all year.

Some of your responsibilities as a Student Assistant in our team will be:

• Map processes and Ways of Working for how we do route planning in Inbound Logistics today incl. how we utilize our current route planning system.
• Make recommendations for how we can improve our processes and Ways of Working and thereby optimize our route planning
• Conducting various analyses to support decision-making and improvement initiatives
• Assisting team with ad hoc tasks and reporting

Who are you?

The right Student Assistant for this position is an ambitious student who thrives on tackling challenges and turning them into growth opportunities. With a high level of energy and resilience, you excel in a fast-paced environment and are ready to solve complex logistics problems. You work independently and stay adaptable amid changing conditions, while collaborating effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders to create alignment and drive progress. Overall, we expect you to:

• Be enrolled in a master’s degree programme or the last year of bachelor’s degree programme within the fields of Supply Chain/Logistics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering or similar for at least 1 more year.
• Speak and write Danish fluently.
• You must be prepared to travel to our 2 Transportation Centers in Taulov and Nr. Vium for some of your working days.   
• Work approximately 10-15 hours per week, with due consideration to your studies.
