Student Assistant, Data Governance - Viby
Viby J, DK
Are you ready to kickstart your career in an international company at the forefront of digital transformation? Do you want to develop your skills in communication and training while helping to shape a global organization’s approach to data governance? If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you!
How will you make an impact?
At Arla, we believe in the power of data as a force for good. As part of our journey to transform data into a strategic asset, our Data Governance team plays a crucial role in ensuring that data supports decision-making across multiple business areas. In this role, you will support our efforts to expand the data governance agenda through impactful communication and training initiatives. Key tasks include:
- Developing Learning Materials: Identify training needs, create engaging content, and explore new formats to help the organization embrace data governance.
- Driving Communication Activities: Assist in planning and executing our communication plan by developing creative content and organizing activities.
- Managing Communication Platforms: Keep our SharePoint site up-to-date and user-friendly.
- Supporting Stakeholder Insights: Maintain and update the data governance dashboard for senior stakeholders.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Contribute to other value-adding projects as needed, making a real impact on our team’s success.
Depending on your interests and skills, we will try to tailor your responsibilities towards e.g. technical projects, creative projects or stakeholder-facing activities.
What makes you successful?
We imagine you are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and have approximately two years left in your studies. You possess strong communication and stakeholder management skills and have a keen eye for detail and a genuine interest in creating impactful learning and communication materials. Furthermore you are proactive, with a “can-do” attitude and a structured approach to tasks. We value candidates who:
- might be studying Business Communication, Information Science, ITKO, or a related field.
- Have excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially PowerPoint.
- Are fluent in English - both spoken and written.
- Experience with tools like Canva, DaVinci Resolve (or similar), and an interest in data-related topics is a bonus but not a requirement. More importantly, we’re looking for someone eager to learn and grow with us.
