Senior Specialist Sustainability Finance - Aarhus (maternity cover)

Are you ready to become part of driving the sustainability journey of Arla Foods by applying your analytical skills in a new and impactful way? You will become a key part of driving the financial and data steer of our sustainability journey in our global supply chain. As senior specialist Supply Chain Finance, you will play a key part in strengthening data transparency, lead financial and non-financial insights and analysis supporting our future direction within sustainability. 

Developing the financial backbone for sustainability in supply chain

With reference to the Senior Finance Manager for Sustainability in Supply Chain Finance you will be heavily involved in finance activities related to advancing our sustainability journey. You will provide the management team and line of business with clear input on current performance and work with activities to improve data transparency and the quality of our KPIs. As a key activity you will work with the forecast to secure timely information about our sustainability trends and advancements, to enable the right fact based steer for our decisions and actions. 

 Other key responsibilities:

• Facilitate the development of plans to ensure the delivery of our sustainability ambitions
• Drive the financial part of our sustainability initiatives across Production and Logistics in very close collaboration with our sustainability PMO in Supply Chain
• Act as key driver of our data sources, definitions, procedures and processes and follow-up on correct usage of sustainability insight in the business
• Provide support to other sustainability related topics to the senior management

Ambitious, data driven, and customer focused

With a high degree of visibility and cooperation across the organization, we are looking for a confident, ambitious and passionate senior specialist with strong stakeholder management skills. We expect candidates to have minimum 3-5 years’ experience within Finance or positions, where data and fact driven performance management and analytics is a key part of the job. The position is a maternity cover until 1st of May 2024.

Success doesn’t come easily so you need to be persistent, self-driven and determined to work towards delivering long term value for Arla.  Furthermore we expect the candidate to have:

• Strong analytical skills, including drawing right conclusions.
• Ambitious with a strong drive and desire to continue to simplify and improve processes.
• High degree of Resiliency – you don’t take no or easy answers, but work constructively towards ensuring projects with biggest impact on long term value for Arla are prioritized.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
• Given the stakeholder interaction, you must be sharp in your communication (high level English is essential) with the ability to deliver an impactful message in presentation material as well as the frequent dialogues.
