About the job

The Marketing & Innovation (M&I) Agile Release Train (ART) in Arla IT is responsible for creating and delivering solutions to our colleagues within the marketing and innovation business area.

In your role as Solution Architect you will be a key player in the team creating and delivering new solutions and maturing the existing system landscape together with peers in the team and across Arla IT.

You will be main responsible for ensuring the quality of our solutions within the Product Lifecycle Management area, through:

• Creating and reviewing technical designs – in collaboration with your team
• Setting the standard for documentation and securing long-term anchoring of technical knowledge
• Enforcing quality standards through review of implementations
• Setting the technical direction and work to build the technical competencies in the team
• Ensuring compliance with Arla security and privacy standards
• Aligning with other Solution Architects and the Release Train Architect on integrations and data flows between systems

Furthermore, you:

• Coordinate with other architects – both within the M&I train and across other trains
• Have close collaboration with the Operations Service Delivery Team, Release Train Architect and assigned Enterprise Architect
• Support portfolio creation, by providing input for new business ideas
• Support stakeholder management towards relevant business stakeholders
• Participate in new platform evaluations and selections together with Enterprise Architects and Business

A central part of the M&I roadmap is related to our product lifecycle management journey where you will be a key player in creating contemporary, global, standardized and scalable solutions.

The product lifecycle management solution is centered around 3Dexperience Enovia and Technia Value Components leveraged with Arla-developed PaaS services and integrations on Microsoft Azure.

Your new team

In your new team, M&I Release train, we take care of all phases of product development and implementation including enabling of the technical platform for these solutions. Your colleagues are specialists within their individual fields of expertise, whether it is technical or business-oriented.

We are scaling up the team delivering solutions across Marketing & Innovation IT and you will play a significant part in this. We work agile with sprints of 3 weeks  and your colleagues are typically in the office 3-4 days a week. At the same time, there are good opportunities to work from home when it suits you best.  

Who are you?

Working in an agile set-up, both in teams and cross-functionally, your cooperation skills are essential. You always strive to make the best of collaborative tasks by supporting your colleagues, even when finished with your own tasks. An organized mindset is also an advantage, as it enables you to handle many different projects.

You will be working with people of your own technical understanding, but you will also be interacting with colleagues from other professional backgrounds. It is therefore crucial that you know how to communicate on many different levels, and that you can explain complex subject matters in fairly simple terms.

Additionally, you offer:

• A degree within Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or similar
• A solid proven technical background as an IT architect or as a software developer
• A solid understanding of data modelling and data handling and modern integrations between systems
• English language skills at business level
