Are you an experienced Software Developer with interest in bridging traditional IT operations with modern software development and DevOps practices? We are looking for two talented colleagues to take part in developing and supporting solutions within the area of Marketing & Innovation (M&I).

How you will make an impact

The IT Application Services department is responsible for delivering high quality in supporting, maintaining and improving the running business applications Arla. Thus, you will be a key player in the team developing, supporting and maintaining the existing system landscape.

You will be working within the area of Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Assets Management (DAM) where we are developing solutions centered around Product Information and Digital Asset Management SaaS products, leveraged with Arla-developed PaaS services and integrations on Microsoft Azure. Among others, you will take part in designing and implementing new solutions, advise the business on best practices in working with the implemented solutions and onboard new markets to our solutions.

Together with the Scrum team you will be responsible for the solutions within the Product Information Management area by:

• Continuously improving our DevOps capabilities through improving observability frameworks, CI/CD pipelines and other parts of the DevOps tool chain
• Creating and updating solution documentation in close collaboration with the Solution Architect
• Acting as 2nd and 3rd level support for the end users – ticket coordination, stakeholder management, incident management and bug fixing
• Performing various tasks in relation to infrastructure and operations of the implemented solutions
• Coaching the team as a senior member, promoting best practice and quality code

You will be working with people of your own technical understanding, but you will also be interacting with colleagues from other professional backgrounds. It is therefore crucial that you know how to communicate on many different levels, and that you can explain complex subject matter in fairly simple terms.

You thrive in working in a large organization with many stakeholders and you possess a proactive, positive and service-minded attitude and feel comfortable taking initiative. Nevertheless, you adapt to changing priorities as needed and demonstrate a problem-solving mindset. 

The ideal candidate has:

• 4-5 years of work experience working with the Microsoft tech stack (C#, .NET, MSSQL and Azure)
• A degree within Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or similar
• A solid proven technical background as a software developer
• A solid understanding of data modelling and data handling and modern integrations between systems
• English language skills on a business level
