We develop, technically document and commercialize specialized ingredients for the global Food and confectionary industry. How you will make an impact

 

As the new Senior Sales Manager you will, together with your team, play a key role in enabling our continued development and growth of our Functional Nutrition business within Europe & Middle East and Africa. Pushing the right initiatives, securing a strong link and relationship with our regional colleagues and customers is key to become successful.

 

Your people management responsibilities will be to;

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of Account managers as well as a sales supporter located in Denmark and working closely with our regions
  • Set clear targets and KPIs for the team and drive performance
  • Ensure priority and direction for the account mangers as well as sales supporter

 

Your responsibilities towards the regions and other functions will be to;

  • Ensuring the EMEA sales team delivers on sales targets and continuous development of pipeline
  • Development and execution of our global sales strategy on selected products
  • Prioritization and allocation of selected products globally
  • Collaborate closely with regional heads to secure aligned prioritization & allocation on selected products  

 

The role is based in our global Headquarter in Aarhus and reports to the Head of Sales, Functional Nutrition. The role requires around 40-50 days of travel per year.

 

What will make you successful

 

We expect you have University degree paired with solid commercial knowledge gained from 8+ years of experience in sales , marketing, or business development ideally. If you don´t have prior experience within Arla, we consider B2B experience as an advantage, and further, we look for candidates who have experience with ingredients or the food industry.

 

Your expertise allows you to understand market developments and act accordingly. A proven strong commercial and strategic mindset focused on achieving results is crucial. While people management experience is a plus, a strong desire to grow these competences is important if you haven't yet managed a team.

 

Finally, your high drive, exceptional people and cultural skills are complemented by proficiency in verbal and written English, as well as excellent presentation skills.
