The PLM team consists of Solution Consultants, Test Managers, Developers, Scrum Master as well as Subject Matter Experts. We take good care of new employees and as newly hired, you will get a  buddy that you can lean on in the first time in the new job.

"As a Senior Solution Architect, you work closely with the business. You are part of a team where business needs and IT solutions are continuously matched to provide the greatest possible value. We are an international highly dedicated team working according to the agile SAFe framework. " says Lead Manager - Release Train Engineer  Ane Marie Hedehus.

About the job

You will  be part of the PLM team in the M&I release train in Arla IT, where we create and deliver solutions to our colleagues in the business area marketing and innovation.

In your role as Solution Architect, you will be a key player in the team that creates and delivers new solutions and matures the existing system landscape together with colleagues in the team and across Arla IT.

Together with solution architects from other teams,  you will be responsible for maturing the solution architectures on various existing solutions as well as new solutions, including integrations between these.

A key part is related to our product lifecycle journey, where you help create modern, global, standardized and scalable solutions.

In product lifecycle management, we are developing  a growing solution centered around 3Dexperience Enovia, Technia Value Components utilized with Arla-developed PaaS services and integrations on Microsoft Azure. In addition we are working on an artwork solution and SAP integration.

As a senior solution architect you:

  • Have the architecture responsibility within your domain: target architecture, roadmaps, non-functional requirements.
  • Set the quality and documentation standard for the domain
  • Coordinate with other architects – both in the same train and in other trains
  • Have a close collaboration with Operations Service Delivery Team, Release Train Architect and the Enterprise Architect for the area
  • Support portfolio creation by providing input to new business ideas (e.g. hypotheses, cost estimates and risk analyses)
  • Perform stakeholder management towards relevant business stakeholders
  • Participate in new platform evaluations and selections together with Enterprise Architects and Business

Your new team

In your new team, the M&I Release train, we take care of all phases of system configuration, development and implementation, including enabling of the technical platform for these solutions. Your colleagues are specialists in their individual fields, whether technical or business-oriented.

We work with an informal tone and value social cohesion highly.

It is a super well-functioning team with a good tone and it makes everyone bring their opinions forward. We work agile with sprints of 3 weeks  and your colleagues are typically in the office 3-4 days a week. We come to the office most days as we thrive in each other's company. At the same time, there are good opportunities to work from home when it suits you best.

Who are you?

As we work in an agile set-up, both in teams and across, your collaboration skills are crucial. You strive to get the best out of the collaboration and supporting and helping your colleagues just as they help you when you need it.

You'll work with colleagues with solid technical skills, but you'll also interact with colleagues from other professional backgrounds. It is therefore important that you are able to communicate complex topics in simple terms.

It will be an advantage if you have experience in product lifecycle management and  some of the technologies and IT platforms in our landscape, e.g. 3Dexperience, TVC, SAP Master Data, Java, Azure Paas, REST API and message-based integration.

In addition, you probably have:

  • A degree in information systems, computer science, engineering or similar
  • A solid documented technical background as an IT architect
  • A solid understanding of data modelling and data management and modern integrations between systems
  • English language skills at business level

What do we offer?

We ensure your professional development and give you the tools to help you become even better. In Arla IT we are more than 400 people based primarily in Viby and Gdansk and we take pride in promoting from within. In your career development you will be able to grow both within the team but also broader in Arla IT.

Our positive and collaborative work culture helps ensure that you succeed. And you will join a market leader that produces nutritious household favorite brands in a way that makes things better for our customers, the farmers who own us, and the whole world.
