How you will make an impact

The role of Senior Manager QEHS, ELN & Family Nutrition (Powder) at Arla involves leading a team of 5 people to provide operational support for Early Life Nutrition and Family Nutrition (Powder) products while also being a technical expert within the field.

Key Responsibilities:
 

• Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead a team and work with stakeholders to ensure compliance and enhance QEHS systems
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure compliance for ELN and Family Nutrition products and organic, develop standards, and apply specialist knowledge in these areas
• Legislation & Improvement: Monitor legislation and customer requirements to improve QEHS management systems and lead improvement projects
• Crisis Management: Play a crucial role in crisis and incident management, resolving issues effectively
• Risk & Performance: Implement risk assessments and systems of work while analyzing QEHS data to enhance performance
• Guidance & Networking: Offer expert guidance to commercial organizations and participate in industry networks for continuous improvement
• Communication & Knowledge Sharing: Engage with customers and stakeholders, facilitating knowledge sharing and fostering a culture of QEHS improvement

What will make you successful

We are seeking a dynamic leader with strong quality assurance insight in the food sector, particularly within ELN and powder products. Essential skills include technical knowledge of contaminants and nutritional aspects, analytical abilities for risk assessment, and regulatory insight, for combining China, EU and CODEX Alimentarius standards. The ideal candidate will effectively lead and motivate teams, manage stakeholders, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment. Cultural understanding for collaboration with teams around the globe, and especially in China is vital.

In addition to this, we believe you have:

• Master’s degree in food science/technology
• 10-15 years of QEHS experience with food products, ideally in powder and ELN
• High proficiency in English, both spoken and written
