How you will make an impact

As our Senior IT Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in aligning functional strategies with our IT Strategy to drive the right IT direction and capability building for these functions. This is an exciting opportunity to work in an environment characterized by ambitious initiatives and global growth. Arla is currently unveiling our 2026 group strategy, with a strong focus on IT value creation, giving you the chance to make a significant impact on our future.

You will represent IT in business matters and also the business in all IT matters. To excel in the role, you will serve as the interface between our European Markets, Global Marketing and Innovation areas, and IT. Here, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the IT roadmaps as well as ensuring IT investments align with the roadmap's ambitions. Further, you role will include the following responsibilities:

• Inspiring leadership units with IT trends and the potential of new technologies
• Driving IT value creation, challenging business processes to achieve standardization and excellence
• Identifying and capturing evolving business requirements, leveraging new technologies
• Communicating IT concepts, linking them to business objectives to enable informed decision-making
• Facilitating the demands of new projects with IT deliverables

What will make you successful
You hold an education at Master’s level or equivalent experience. To be successful in the role, you should possess  strong stakeholder management skills, honed through working in multicultural and global environments as an IT Business Partner or Consultant. You should have a proven ability to effectively communicate and explain IT concepts, such as services, investments, and new trends, in relation to business objectives and prioritization. Previous experience with commercial, marketing and/or innovation functions and IT solutions is highly desirable.

While the Senior IT Business Partner role does not have direct people responsibilities, you will play a vital role in fostering collaboration across teams and bring people together to achieve common goals in the best way, so it is important that you have years of experience and feel comfortable managing teams with strong conflict-handling and decision-making capabilities.

The main location for this position is Viby in Aarhus, with some occasional travel to Gdansk or other European markets.
