Driving the innovative agenda for Arla Lactofree and Gut Health

Reporting to the Director of Health From Within, you play a critical role in building our growth territories and the brands within them.

As Senior Global Innovation Manager, you will be day-to-day responsible for the Global Innovation Manager. Together, you will develop innovation and build an exciting journey of Arla Lactofree with an ambition to accelerate growth in Europe. On top of this, you will have the opportunity to create a new important strategic business area for the Arla brand in Gut health, covering products that support the overall health. Combined, these brands are a big part of the Arla brand growth journey and thus, a critical part of Arla brand and the top line growth engine in all our European markets.

 

As Senior Global Innovation Manager, you will:

  

  • Drive innovation in Arla Lactofree and Gut Health with key stakeholders, developing the right portfolio on associated brands, focusing on big scalable innovations across market
  • Be responsible for driving the innovation agenda for the coming 3-5 years
  • Take end-to-end ownership of projects - from concept development to product development (in collaboration with New Product Development)
  • Prepare and present for Gate meetings based on our Stage gate model
  • Guide and support the Global Innovation Manager, ensuring continuous personal and professional development
  • Ensure company compliance to policies and processes – ensure that procedures are in place, understood and adopted
  • Part of driving global Ways of Working processes, acting as single point of contact for markets, fostering strong communication and contracting on expectations with different stakeholders

 

For this role, you can be based in any of our European markets; Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands and UK. If not based in Denmark, we expect that you are able to travel 4-6 days per month to Denmark or other European markets - and otherwise work from home or utilize one of our European offices.

 

Experienced Innovation Manager who sets the direction and inspires

We imagine that you have a master’s degree and come with solid experience in leading and driving innovation projects, preferably within the food industry. Working with innovation, you use your creative flair to influence shopper and consumer behaviour while also considering the customers/channel and product category. You possess excellent project management skills and are able to run projects cross-functionally with a strong focus on cost, scale, quality and time. You have experience working with P&L and commercial projects. Preferably, you have worked with European markets and either have or want to develop a global/central working experience. You are fluent in English.

 

On a personal note, you are a great collaborator and know how to bring people along on the journey in building strong relationships and networks. You thrive in a role, where you set the direction and serve as a sparring partner and inspirator to your colleagues. You are curious and eager to learn new things to continuously develop your professional and personal skills. You are commercially minded and understand what drives a business. You are a strong communicator who sets the direction and ensures that projects are executed on time.
