Senior Global Brand Manager - COCIO, Arla Foods - Aarhus

Join the Milk Based Beverage team of passionate and highly motivated marketers striving to deliver strong growth across our portfolio of beverage brands in ARLA.  


Responsibility for brand growth strategy, protecting strongholds and defining new opportunities, developing global brand activation toolboxes.

You will join the Milk Based Beverage Marketing team at Arla’s headquarters in Aarhus, Denmark, where you in close collaboration with markets will be responsible for developing and delivering growth plans for the brand. As well as development of the global toolboxes covering Communication, Channel activation, Digital and Innovation launches. You will also follow up on brand and Innovation launch performance, continuously work to optimise the global toolbox to ensure effectiveness and high ROI, proactively search for new growth:

  • Develop brand growth strategy exploring and defining new opportunities in core and new markets, securing buy in and excitement across key stakeholders
  • Define annual global brand plans ensuring alignment across markets
  • Develop strong 360 global toolbox for current brand and innovations, based on deep understanding of consumer behaviour and insights
  • Work closely with innovation team to ensure strong innovation pipeline and execution of new launches
  • Drive the COCIO® agenda across the Arla organization, working closely with Local Markets, Innovation, Supply Chain, Finance, Insights
  • Be a true brand owner and inspiring leader for COCIO® international community and one of your direct report


Solid commercial background and experience in working with branded beverages.

You are an experience brand marketer with strong business acumen skills. You have a track record of strong communication and activation development that have successfully delivered business growth.  You are result-oriented with experience of successfully driving brand development that makes a positive change for the business. Ideally you have experience from working both locally and globally. You have an experience with executing innovations from both a consumer, shopper and customer perspective. Moreover, you have proven that you are a strong relationship builder and can successfully navigate a global matrix organization. You have a strong background in working with global FMCG brands. Equally important, you speak and write English fluently.

On a personal level, you have a strong combination of strategic thinking and creative mind. You have a positive life attitude, sense of humor and really enjoy what you do. In line with this, building strong relationships with internal/external stakeholders and collaborating with creative agencies comes naturally to you.
