Senior Finance Business Partner for Logistics - Aarhus

Are you ready to play a key central role in the Global Logistics Finance Team? You will lead the forecast and reporting process in an environment with great change and a present agenda to re-build the entire performance management infrastructure. This change will require an ability to look through a complex infrastructure and build new structures that supports decision making across functions. This role requires strong direction setting as well as excellent skills within business partnering and communication and, needless to say, solid financial insight and experience. 

 

You will be based in Aarhus and report to the Finance Director for Logistics and be member of the Global Logistics Finance Team with colleagues in UK, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and The Netherlands. Our Logistics operations covers inbound milk collection, Warehouses, Outbound distribution to our customers and intermediate transportation of both Raw materials and finished goods.

 

Your area of responsibility

 

As the Senior Finance Business Partner you will be working with Senior and Executive colleagues, sitting in the Global Logistics Finance Leadership Team and the Supply Chain Finance Extended Leadership Team. In addition, you will lead the Business Partner Community in Logistics across countries, As a Senior advisor, you will deliver financial and non-financial targets and actively facilitate and take part in driving performance with a sense of urgency and playing a key role in ensuring we meet our targets and KPIs.

 

You will act as financial sparring partner to both the logistics leadership team and the Business Partner community. This position has an exciting balance of both strategic projects, driving change and engagement as well as more typical operational tasks.

 

Your responsibilities will be:

 

  • Leading the global forecast process in close collaboration with stakeholders in Commercial, Procurement, SC Finance, Logistics and the BP community
  • Act as the Logistics Finance representative in the crucial project that will re-build our performance management infrastructure
  • Act as the Logistics Finance lead on development in reports and models
  • Liaison with the central functions in SC Finance for key deliveries and decisions
  • Partnering for Logistics Center of Excellence and participate in global strategic projects, Fund our Future etc.
  • Actively engaging and supporting capital investment (CAPEX) projects in the logistics area
  • Proactively communicating and engaging with relevant stakeholders, to manage expectations and drive corrective actions with a strong drive and sense of urgency
  • Using your inquisitive mind to gain insights from financial performance, and report back to the business in an engaging and understandable way
  • Supporting the delivery of the Global Logistics Finance agenda 

 

Your profile

 

You probably hold a Master’s degree in Economics and have documented results on your ability to be a strong, relevant and professional finance partner to the business. You will be expected to have a strong focus on motivating and engaging your BP colleagues to ensure that high quality business partnering and support is delivered to the business.


You have a track record of building strong relationships both within the finance community but also in the business. You make a strong impact and have a communication style that is engaging, persuasive and emphatic. An analytical thinker, you are proactive with a strong desire to develop and improve ways of working. You will be equally comfortable doing hands on, operational tasks as you are in a leadership team meeting providing sharp insights and strategic considerations.

 

Finally, you must be fluent in English and Danish.
