How you will make an impact
The role will focus on two key aspects. Firstly, you'll ensure the successful execution of technical projects at our dairies through collaboration with the Capex manager, IT project manager, consultants, solution architects, project team members, and key stakeholders. Secondly, you'll mentor IT project managers, enhancing their technical skills and strengthening our automation and data quality foundation. Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with regional production leaders, acting as their strategic partner by providing regular updates and addressing concerns. Essentially, you will mentor IT project managers within technical aspects and lead Capex projects across our dairies worldwide, striving to align them with Arla IT standards.

 

To sum up, the role involves the following key responsibilities:

  • Taking technical responsibility for the Automation and IT scope within the Capex projects based on the feasibility team’s assessment
  • Coaching and developing the IT project team to perform at their best 
  • Take responsibility for optimizing our process in Capex delivery
  • Building strong partnerships with Engineering & Technology, and Dairy teams

 

This position is located in Viby, Denmark or Gdansk, Poland, but anticipate approximately 20 days of travel each year to visit dairies worldwide.


What will make you successful

You have a genuine interest in developing and coaching teams. With your exceptional facilitation and communication skills, you excel in engaging with a diverse stakeholder environment that spans various cultures, and you have the ability to connect with individuals from various backgrounds.

 

In addition, we imagine that you have:

  • At least 5 years of experience as an IT automation project manager
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing processes for automation projects to ensure quality, including a minimum of 3 years in data quality management
  • Strong IT acumen or experience from working with OT production environment
  • Are proficient in spoken and written English
