Senior Business Development Manager, Arla Danmark - Viby

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to join Arla Denmark and act as the trusted advisor and member of the Arla Denmark leadership team.

In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of Arla Denmark while gaining end-to-end exposure to our business operations. You will report to the Business Development Director in Europe and have a dotted line to the Market Head/CEO of Arla Denmark. You will be a full member of the Arla Denmark Leadership Team and will also be part of the European Business Development team as well as our Strategy and Business Development community, which consists of high-caliber people with e.g. top-tier consulting backgrounds.

Our Strategy and Business Development team has significant opportunities to truly impact our business as we are working on the most critical strategic projects across the value chain, such as defining future growth areas or category strategies. Furthermore, we drive a strong developmental focus on our team members’ skills and career development journeys.

You areas of responsibilities will be:

1. Executive support: Work closely with Arla Denmark’s leadership team to provide support in various areas such as conducting research, preparing impactful presentations, and effectively drive and facilitate the meeting cadence. Act as a trusted advisor to the Market Head/CEO of Arla Denmark, and help the leadership team make informed decisions and manage their workflow efficiently. 

2. Strategy development: You drive the implementation of our Future26 Strategy through the annual business planning process and collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop strategic initiatives to create short- and long-term impact. This includes being proactive in developing project plans, setting goals, allocating resources and driving progress to meet our objectives.

What will make you successful

The ideally candidate has a consultancy or strategy development background. Alternative you have a role from an international company as strategy manager/lead combined with a solid educational background probably within Business Administration.

In order to be successful in this role you have a solid strategy consulting toolbox (e.g. business case, structured problem solving, communication, project and program management skills). Furthermore, you have excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel and fluency in English is a must.

Your level of drive lies far above average, and your problem solving skills enables you to challenge the status quo and come up with ambitious solutions.
