About the job

As our new Senior BI Specialist you will work with various and complex tasks in our Business Intelligence team under the AFI Finance Area. You will be working with 6 highly skilled colleagues. Your role will be to understand and challenge the business needs and translate these into BI solutions and capabilities across AFI. You will be responsible for the interface between Arla IT (APH), AFI Business Intelligence and AFI Business stakeholders. The responsibility includes defining, designing, developing, implementing and supporting Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. More specifically, you responsibilities will be to;

• Act as a trusted advisor and thought leader for business partners, providing inspiration, guidance and support for them to succeed in their analytical and reporting journeys.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data quality, accuracy, and availability, and drive the adoption of standard BI tools and practices.
• Develop and implement BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data models, using tools such as Power BI, Databricks and SQL.
• Support operations and governance of AFI Business Intelligence solutions.
• Perform troubleshoot on Business Intelligence solutions and assist in resolution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines.
• Educate Finance and other users in AFI on our systems and tools.

Who are you?

You have an education at Bachelor or Master level within Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business. Alternatively, solid work experience with relevant and strong business processes.

Understanding business processes and guidelines requires good system insight and ERP experience. We expect you that you have a strong interest and knowledge in BI technologies and data analysis. You thrive with the technical and operational tasks and you get energized when challenging existing processes aiming towards optimizing, simplifying and/or increasing quality.

Your approach is detail oriented, timely and structured. You have good communication skills and know how to present your solutions precisely and engaging.

Naturally, you speak and write English effortlessly.
