As part of this role, you will play a key role in empowering teams, driving engagement, and nurturing the mindset shift needed to unlock the full potential of our data solutions—with Collibra, our data enablement platform, as a key enabler.

The IT Transformation and Data Governance Office drives Arla’s data strategy by developing data governance frameworks, best practices, and tools to enhance data usage. We're actively involved in rolling out Arla’s new data enablement platform, featuring a data catalogue, business glossary, and data lineage. Our commitment to data as a force for good is key to Arla’s digital transformation across business areas.

How you will make an impact
In this role, you will lead the global adoption of Arla’s Data Enablement platform, Collibra, which e.g. includes a data catalogue, business glossary, and data lineage. You will be responsible for the full adoption journey—from strategy to execution—ensuring that user adoption becomes a natural and integrated part of Arla’s digital transformation. You will align the adoption of Collibra with our Data Platform development, working closely with platform owners, product teams, and change managers to ensure both platforms succeed as a unified data ecosystem. Additionally, you will drive the mindset shift needed for embedding data governance across the organisation, leading a transformation in how thousands of colleagues globally think about and work with data.

More specifically, you will:

• Design and execute global adoption strategies for the data platform (Collibra), including campaigns, communication, stakeholder mapping, and user onboarding.
• Convert technical concepts into user-friendly communication materials like guides, videos, and presentations to explain data governance and platform usage.
• Create and facilitate learning experiences that enhance both conceptual understanding and practical skills, from “”metadata basics” to “troubleshooting with lineage”.
• Develop adoption communities, such as data champions and trainers, to support decentralized learning across functions and regions.
• Collaborate with product teams, data stewards, and platform owners to align adoption initiatives with technical updates and user needs.
• Monitor adoption metrics through surveys, platform analytics, and feedback to improve strategies and demonstrate value.

What will make you successful

To succeed in this role, we assume that you can tick most of the following boxes:

• 5+ years in change management, communication, learning & development, or design thinking—ideally related to digital and data tools/platforms/catalogues.
• Familiarity with data solutions or digital platforms, understanding data flows and catalogues, and how platforms like Collibra support business needs.
• Ability to communicate in both business and technical language, bridging the gap between users, developers, and product teams.
• Skills in learning design and facilitation, capable of turning complex topics into engaging learning experiences.
• Strong analytical mindset for tracking adoption trends, identifying challenges, and translating insights into actions.
• Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to engage and influence across functions, cultures, and seniority levels.

And finally, you know how to design and facilitate impactful workshops that foster co-creation, engagement, and shared ownership of outcomes.
