Project manager, Business Excellence and Compliance team - Aarhus

About the job


You will be leading projects on improving cross functional business processes in relation to for example our Quality and Food safety strategy and our digitalization strategy. Also you will influence the maintenance and further development of the project management skills across the organization through collaboration with project managers in other areas of the AFI business. You will work with stakeholders throughout various Arla Foods Ingredients teams, such as Commercial, R&D, Supply Chain, Business Development and Arla Foods amba, to help develop and deliver on the projects you are leading.


 Your tasks will be to:


  • Lead cross functional projects within the field of business processes
  • Contribute to business process development across AFI in the areas of project, program and portfolio management
  • Work closely with the project team members to enable progress and alignment
  • Direct the maintenance and development of project management models and tools
  • Direct expertise and support towards project managers in the use of Project management tools for high quality project execution


Who are you?


You are an ambitious project manager passionate about delivering sustainable business improvements. Your strategic mindset and project management experience combined with your stakeholder management skills enable you to lead a project independently and get all relevant stakeholders onboard. You have an education at Master degree level and 3-5 years of experience within the area of business processes development, preferably from food or pharma industry.


Moreover, you are characterized by the following:


  • Possess great project management skills – meaning you are organised and know how to plan and execute initiatives in coordination with others
  • Strong communication skills
  • IT skills (Office 365 tools, Sharepoint sites, Power BI, Power automate etc)
  • Team player with the capability to work autonomously and collaborate in a project environment
  • Holistic and positive mindset
  • Knowledge of change management within projects
  • Solid facilitator for leading of meetings and workshops
  • Fluent in English

Key responsibilities

  • Partly responsible for managing the constraints of the project, including cost, time, scope and quality of outcome.
  • Manages project team members in a small/medium-scale project.
  • Responsible for planning and management of projects to ensure that the specified project objectives are achieved to agreed specifications.
  • Ensures continuous business anchoring of the project through close dialogue with the pro-ject sponsors and key stakeholders.
  • Ensures that the Arla Foods project process is followed and that the appropriate tools and systems are used to report and document changes and results throughout the project.
  • Ensures that legislation is kept and that important knowledge/results from the project are documented and protected.
  • Ensures a smooth and efficient project completion. That also includes suggesting changes of the project organisation if needed.
  • Participates in the development of Arla Foods project culture by giving feedback on existing or new tools/systems/processes relevant to project management in Arla Foods.

Educational background/Experience

  • Documented experienced as a small/medium-scale project manager.
  • Documented experience as a project team member in a large-scale project.
  • One year of business management experience.
