Project Manager for The Barn, Arla Foods - Aarhus

Our in-house agency, The Barn, was created a few years ago to help our global and local brands win in a world of increasing media complexity. Today, we have a strong team specializing in campaign development and digital asset creation, strategy and planning, analytics, media buying and tech. As our new Project Manager, you will be playing a central part in our agency operations setup.

 

About the job 

 

Reporting into our Head of Agency Operations, you will work directly with our brands in The Barn. Together with your colleagues you’ll be handling project request, gathering requirements, defining scope, deliverables and delivery dates, planning resources, managing budgets and developing a clear and actionable project plan. You will also play a key role in further developing our internal agency setup in terms of processes and tools supporting our development process from brief to execution. You will work closely together with teams across all functions, but especially teaming up with our account management team and producers.

 

Common tasks and responsibility:

 

  • Overall responsible for the project process  from start to finish , making sure the project is on brief, on budget and delivered on time
  • Effectively lead and clearly communicate overall campaign timelines, project deliverables, and resourcing needs towards both clients and internal team, ensuring effective exchange of information and deliverables
  • Doing effective resource management, navigate contending priorities, allocate resources appropriately, and mitigate associated challenges
  • Together with your colleagues in the Agency Operations Team drive our yearly planning process in the barn
  • Driving and facilitating cross team work as well as internal learning loops incl project evaluation
  • Support and further develop our internal agency setup and processes incl. tools

 

Who are you? 


The right candidate is a natural born problem solver, and have prior experience within an advertising agency. You know how to strike the balance between hard deadlines and budgets and fostering engagement and a creative culture. It is therefore important that you possess solid people skills and know how to communicate effectively with both specialists and management. Great communication and stakeholder management skills are crucial as you, together with our account management team, will be the point of contact for our brands handling requests from brands, anticipate and interpret desired outcome and help both the brand and our team navigate in a common direction.

 

Last, but not least, you are proficient in verbal and written English, possess excellent presentation skills and work seamlessly with PowerPoint and excel.

 

You hold the following qualifications: 

 

  • 3+ years’ agency experience (could come from a digital agency, advertising agency or media agency)
  • Excellent project management, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starting, flexible, highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and has the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
  • Yes-we-can attitude!
