Process Manager and Project Manager for Procurement - Aarhus

Focus on Supplier Relationship Management

We are continuously striving to make the most of our ways of working both internally and towards our suppliers. In this role, you define processes and best practice approaches towards strategic sourcing and supplier relationship management and you will act as a facilitator to support our Procurement organization to deploy this. Examples could be to facilitate processes around category strategies, supplier performance review, relationship development or continuous improvement projects.

 

The Procurement organization is spread across Denmark, Sweden, Germany, the Netherlands, UK, Poland and Hong Kong.

 

You will also take lead of projects internally, related to development or implementation of new approaches or platforms to optimize of ways of working within sourcing areas or towards supplier. Examples could be process and system to handle supplier claims or implementation of supplier performance KPI’s.

 

In reality, this role is combining process optimization and development and project management. It is anchored in the team of Source to Pay within Procurement.

 

Focus of this role will be:

  • Act as process manager and define best practices within Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relationship Management.
  • Key facilitator towards colleagues in the sourcing areas to ensure implementation of sourcing and supplier development processes and approaches.
  • Working closely with our teams of Category Managers to understand their needs and challenges when it comes to continuous supplier development.
  • Understand the landscape of stakeholders to Procurement internally in Arla and support facilitation of collaboration internally.
  • Establish and deploy key performance indicators to measure and develop supplier performance.
  • Drive Change Management to be successfully in a complex organization.
  • Actively engage to define and implement system requirements relevant to support efficient sourcing and supplier collaboration.
  • Take lead to manage specific projects related to either sourcing or supplier development. E.g. together with other colleagues in Source to Pay, Category Managers, cross-functionally in Arla or in corporation with suppliers.
  • Close corporation with peer colleagues in the Source to Pay team as well as the rest of Procurement.

 

Your competences

You hold a commercial Master degree within e.g. business administration, International business or similar, combined with at least 5 years of experience from an international procurement organization. You have hands-on experience within sourcing / Category Management and understand challenges and long term opportunities related to supplier collaboration.

 

  • You already have proven experience within Process and Project Management,
  • You have at least 3-5 years of practical experience within Sourcing/Procurement from an international organization e.g. from a previous role as Category or Sourcing Manager.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and profound Procurement and business understanding.
  • You navigate easily in a large organization and collaborate easily online as well as face to face and you are fluent in English.
