As the Principal Platforms Architect, you will be a key part of our Platforms leadership team, reporting directly to the IT Director of Platforms. The position can be located in either Gdansk, Poland or Aarhus, Denmark.

How you will make an impact

You will oversee a team of 9 platform solution architects, ensuring the stability, scalability, and success of our platforms, including Internal developer platform, Data foundation platform, Generative AI platform and Azure cloud centre for enablement. Your role involves close collaboration with technical teams, business users, and senior stakeholders to drive platform innovation and deliver exceptional solutions.

Your key responsibilities include:
 

• Lead and manage a team of 9 platform solution architects, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our Azure Cloud, Internal Developer, Data Foundation, and Generative AI platforms.
• Prioritize and manage the roadmap and backlog for each platform, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
• Present technical concepts to non-technical senior stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and understanding.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, making recommendations for platform enhancements or new capabilities.

In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders to translate their needs into platform enhancements, building lasting relationships as a key liaison for inquiries. You'll ensure platform stability and scalability to meet business needs and support organizational objectives.

What will make you successful

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:
 

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related degree. Alternatively significant work experience in a similar or related field.
• Proven experience as a technical architect.
• A technical background with experience in cloud computing platforms and system scalability would be beneficial.
• Demonstrated success in creating and managing an architectural roadmap.
• Experienced in CI/CD practices and developer experience tools.
• Proven managerial experience ideally for technical profiles.
• Excellent strategic planning, project management, and organizational skills.

Your resilience and adaptability enable you to overcome resistance and drive change, bridging technical details with strategic objectives.
