Master Planner, Global S&OP - Arla Foods Ingredients - Aarhus

Are you interested in joining a fantastic team of 10 Planners creating the foundation for optimising the entire Arla Foods Ingredients value chain? AFI Global S&OP are seeking an additional experienced Master Planner with a strong analytical mindset to enhance our planning processes as the current Master Planner advanced within the team.

Arla Foods Ingredients (AFI) is an independent company within the Arla Foods Group with an ambition to become the true global leader of the value-added whey business.

Our Global S&OP team manages the entire value chain from Demand- and Master Production Planning to Logistics and Business Intelligence. We facilitate a well driven monthly S&OP process balancing the future 15-month demand and supply and have recently implemented a global S&OE process. Next step in our planning development is to move the current excel-based planning tools into SAP IBP and we believe you will have a key role in this.

How you will make an impact

Your main the responsibility will be to handle the Master Production Planning for our Global Protein material groups cross production sites. Majority of our protein products are produced to stock and your key success criteria will be to secure a balanced stock for the coming 15 months. In close cooperation with your colleagues you create the relevant overview and develop scenarios to the S&OP process.  You excel in finding a harmonious balance between mitigating issues with stakeholders and effectively driving actions through others.

In particular, you will:

• Develop and manage Master Production Planning for our Global Protein material groups across production sites.
• Identify imbalances between supply and demand, and coordinate solutions/scenarios/recommendations to be addressed in S&OP process or to the S&OE process
• Prepare meeting material and lead Supply Review Meetings in the monthly S&OP process
• Actively participate in implementing SAP IBP for our Master Production Planning together with the internal team and external consultants.
• Setup masterdata and develop planning concepts cross sites
• Follow up on relevant KPI’s and lead proactive dialogs across Arla and AFI functions to optimize the value chain
• In close cooperation with your planning colleagues drive the continuous development of our core planning capabilities

You have a solution oriented and analytical approach

Ideally we are looking for a candidate, who has a mix of the following competencies:

• Solid experience in the Master Production Planning processes within a FMCG organisation or similar
• Relevant degree within supply chain or a related field
• You have experience with Master Production Planning in an ERP system such as SAP APO or even better in SAP IBP as IBP will be the future planning platform in AFI.
• strong data analysis skills and a preference for making fact-based decisions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• ability to work independently while recognizing the value of collaborating with colleagues
• advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint (thinkCell), and BI tools including SAP Hana/APO/IBP, with a solid understanding of different supply chain activities and processes.
• persistence and a passion for developing current ways of working.
• thrives working in an organisation that is constantly growing and likes to take ownership of their responsibilities
• excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written..
