Master Data Governance Manager - MDM & SC Finance, Viby

About the job

 

This role is responsible for the Master Data Management (especially around the Material Master, connected objects and Business partner/Supplier data) and master data processes and solutions globally in Arla Foods. As a Governance Manager for the Supply Chain business you will be responsible for development of the Supply Chain area as well as participation in various projects driven from either IT or business.

 

The overall objective and responsibility of the position cover following areas:

 

  • Lead the global Master data standardization for Materials and business partners (suppliers) to ensure transparency.
  • Drive alignment and secure quality around the material and supplier objects and connected objects (Bill of Materials, Master Recipes, Info Records, Source lists, schedule agreements etc) and related processes.
  • Implement Data Governance and drive/lead Governance Boards.
  • Business and Project Partnering around master data quality.
  • Develop and enforce Master Data vision and strategy definitions.
  • Drive the Material and Supplier Master data education concept.
  • Develop solid Data Quality Framework Concept for materials and suppliers, standards and polices.
  • Safeguard standards, solutions and data foundation (shared with MDT IT).
  • Secure the end-to-end processes.

 

Who are you?

 

You thrive in a visible role interfacing many stakeholders who provide, analyse or manage product data. You are passionate about master data and the possibilities it brings once you have a proper governance in place – and you know how to communicate these opportunities. You need to have strong knowledge of the Material  and Supplier master data area on an operational and tactical level in combination with strong analytical skills and solid project management skills. Being able to keep the holistic view and detail complexity too. Practical experience with implementation of master data processes and change management in general. Knowledge of either MDM processes or SAP MD is an advantage.

 

  • +4 years of experience within the Master Data Management Data area or Supply chain related.
  • Training courses and/or additional education in the Global data area.
  • In-depth knowledge about SAP and Arla is a huge advantage.
  • Fluent in English at negotiation level.
  • Ability to drive multiple small projects and co-drive large projects at the same time.
  • Clear communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Ability to handle large amounts of data and transform them into understandable reports and draw conclusions based on the aggregation, consolidation and analysis of data. Basic project management skills to manage small to medium projects, and in supporting role to larger projects is an advantage.
  • Strong personality and being able to lead the way from a governance perspective on the commercial area.
