Are you skilled in stakeholder management and experienced in developing processes and ensuring control within a multi-vendor environment? If so, you may be the ideal candidate for our new License Manager position, a strategically significant role within Vendor Management and part of Arla IT.
You will be part of Vendor Management consisting of 12 highly skilled colleagues delivering high impact decisions and solutions within Vendor Management, License Management, Service Level Management and Service Transition.
How you will make an impact
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Vendor Management you will have a major impact on the success of the department and our key project deliveries. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for the License Management area and execute on our operational plans and high quality projects with a direct link to our functional success. We expect you to challenge processes and practices identifying opportunities for continuous improvements. Your will navigate in a broad range of important stakeholders and build a close cooperation with our Service Delivery Managers and Architects within IT - and with our corporate functions Legal and Procurement as well as our external license software vendors.
You will furthermore:
- Perform License Management on contracts globally
- Participate in contract negotiations for the big license vendors
- Be responsible for setting up and running governance for the License Management area
- Implement SAM (Software Asset Management) processes and tools
- Run IT License audits

You thrive in setting direction as well as prioritize your workloads efficiently. You have personal impact and strong negotiation, decision-making and interpersonal skills. You bring strong stakeholder management skills both with the ability to engage and influence with Arla colleagues and external vendors.
You have an educational background ideally within an IT discipline with strong technical skills and knowledge. You either come with a solid track record of License Management and/or Software Asset Management, or alternatively you might have less work experience but you bring a good technical knowledge, some transferable experience and the right personal profile to make a success of this position. In addition, the ideal candidate has experience with:
- License management of software from both big and small IT software companies
- Working in large global business organisations
- Experience in SAM (soft asset management) processes and tools
