Internship, Instore Excellence - Aarhus

In a post-covid market, where retailers have begun to put an increased emphasis on the instore shopping experience, our role in supporting and driving instore excellence across the Danish Arla retail landscape has become increasingly important. We deliver analysis, insights, solutions, activities and concepts, that supports the development of customers and our own instore activities, through space and trade development initiatives.

How you will make an impact
As Instore Excellence Intern, you will be working in the Instore Excellence Team supporting various sales and marketing functions within retail.

Your main projects during the internship:

• Deliver insights and recommendations towards instore optimization initiatives within Space management.
• Planning and coordination of Trade initiatives to ensure best practice execution.
• Deliver sales and ROI reports on Trade activities to enable the team in optimization of future activities.
• Ad-hoc tasks, e.g. follow-up on trade activities and prepare presentations for customer meetings.

As an intern you will assist the Instore Excellence Team in driving recommendations and actions into practice, to strengthen the business of Arla and our customers, through Instore Excellence.

What will make you successful

We are seeking an entrepreneurial and independent individual with a strong analytical mindset, capable of transforming insights into solutions and recommendations that enhance instore excellence.

• You have a high performance mindset
• Your educational background can be within Marketing, International Business, Retail Management or something similar
• You have a natural flair for numbers and data management - and strong analytical skills
• You have a natural interest in consumers and therefore a broad understanding of the Danish consumer market
• You are proficient in Power Point and Excel
• It is an advantage if you have experience with Power BI
• You are self-driven and can maintain an overview, but at the same time have an eye for details
• You respect deadlines and work hard to meet them
• You are positive, results-oriented, structured and dynamic
• You speak and write English and Danish fluently

You will be a part of a team of 4 skilled and motivated individuals who are driving the development and execution of both space and trade activities, to support the Arla Denmark Instore Excellence agenda. You will be working with our brands, categories, sales force and customers within the retail landscape.
