Head of HR Information Systems - Aarhus

You will join the management team of Global HR Service Delivery as a Senior Manager reporting to the Senior Director HR Service Delivery and you will be leading a team of 7 experienced HRIS col-leagues based in Aarhus and Gdansk. The team is dedicated to creating and maintaining global digital HR solutions to improve the end-2-end employee experience throughout Arla - all to secure a superior end-user experience of HR across our many locations!

Leading Excellence in HRIS

As Head of HR Information Systems, your mission is to define and drive the strategical agenda and road map for our HR information systems going forward. Your overall aim is to further extend technology into all of HR processes securing efficient, effective and flexible tech-solutions to our many employees and people managers who depend on HR to thrive and perform in their daily jobs.


Specifically, you will be responsible for:

• Leading the HRIS team, providing strategic direction and coaching to ensure optimal performance whilst driving the day-to-day operational processes on the solutions that are owned by the team

• Defining and driving the HR IT Roadmap

• Ensuring continuous improvement and innovation of enabling technology

• Ensuring end-user needs are translated into sustainable system solutions

• Involving the right stakeholders – e.g. IT, Payroll or HR process owners – to secure optimal execution of project


A self-driven leader with strong stakeholder management skills

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in leading a team and working with Information Systems on a strategic level, as HRIS manager, system owner, system architect or the like and is looking for a challenge to take this one step further in a global organisation. Alternatively, you are an experienced HR leader having seen from the side-line how HR Technology is developing the business, and now you can see yourself taking lead of a team within the engine-room of HR, that is fully dedicated to enhance the employee experience further through technology.


Irrespective of your background, you are a skilled stakeholder manager and you feel at ease in reaching out to people and creating interest around your missions. People listen to you, and you know how to get the right people onboard and keep the momentum going on large projects even without direct leadership. You have had experience in coaching people to success, and you have an energetic and independent personality and use your structured working methods to achieve your and the department’s goals. You thrive in an environment that is ever-changing, and know this is a prerequisite for growth. Finally, you have excellent English skills - written as well as spoken as this is the daily language that we use in our international team.
