HR Director, Arla Foods - Aarhus


Would you like to be part of a business transformation and set your mark on the strategic people agenda in a global company while working closely together with the Leadership Team of our Global Marketing, Innovation, Communication and Sustainability (MICS) organization and the Danish commercial organization?  If so, we may have just the job for you as HR Director supporting both the Arla Denmark (ADK) and the Global Marketing, Innovation, Communication and sustainability (MICS) team.


We are looking for an experienced and talented HR Director who will work together with the commercial business (ADK) and the global MICS organization to drive and implement the strategic people agenda, developing a high performing organization. The position is based in Denmark, Aarhus.


Key advisor and sparring partner


Overall, you will act as a key advisor and sparring partner to both the ADK leadership team and to the MICS leadership team on implementing the overall business strategy as well as managing the day-to-day operation. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and lead the implementation of the Arla People strategy and you will identify people and organizational needs to meet the business strategy and drive implementation – and function as a guardian of HR excellence. It is also part of your job to ensure that the key HR processes are implemented and anchored throughout the organization and to provide professional support and advice for the line management on all issues in the employee life-cycle.


This position will give you a unique opportunity to work both operationally with ADK and the global MICS organization where you will become part the Leadership Teams, while also influence and support the global commercial people agenda. You will be part of a solid network across DK, Europe, global HR and MICS. You will report directly to the Europe VP HR and head a team of 3 HR Business Partners.


Solid HR insight and consultative skills


You either hold a relevant degree within Business, HRM or an equivalent discipline and your solid experience in developing organizations and leaders have given you in-depth knowledge of both strategic and operational HR. You have a background as HR Director in a large, global company and thanks to your strong business acumen you have already proven your talent of executing strategies together with leaders at all organizational levels. You have worked at both local and global roles in HR managing multiple stakeholders. This requires personal impact, strong self-organizing skills, authority and pace. Your level of drive lies far above average, you have a proven track record of delivering results and your proactiveness and  can-do attitude enable you to deliver sustainable results in a changing environment.
