We are looking for a commercially driven Senior Commercial Manager to craft impactful commercial strategies, being at the forefront of building and expanding the Arla Protein brand,
How you will make an impact
Reporting to the Director of Arla Protein, you will play a critical role in building the Arla Protein brand. Currently worth over 133 million Euros and expanding by 31%, you will be working with your team and cross markets to develop the Arla Protein and Melkunie Protein brands which have a huge growth potential in the coming years. It will be your task to be part of developing the commercial strategy for the brand alongside the Commercial Manager in the team. You will be responsible for business development and creating strong 4P strategies to drive future growth.
More specifically, you will:
- Lead and own key parts of the channel strategy as well as supporting markets with placement strategy across channels (retail, convenience, e-comm etc.)
- Take leadership of our international expansion strategy, working with markets globally to create strong growth plans
- Be project manager on complex projects that ensure optimal growth, e.g. site moves and third party manufacturers
- Take ownership of our core portfolio, ensuring we have the right range with clear direction for markets on market roll out opportunities and ranging recommendations
- Be responsible for informal day to day management of the Commercial Manager in the team
For this role, you can be based in any of our European markets; Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands or UK. You should expect travel activities corresponding to a few times a month across Europe (if you are based in Viby Denmark, travel will be less) and otherwise work from home or utilize our offices in one of our European markets. Travel requirements will vary through the year.

Besides this, you:
- Have solid experience working within a similar commercially focused marketing, category or sales role within FMCG
- Are able to translate consumer, channel, customer and business needs into strategy, proposition and concrete business results
- Are familiar with the entire marketing process and ideally have had hands-on commercial experience, either in the roles of sales, trade marketing or marketing
- Have the know-how to operate in a matrix set-up and a good understanding of the full value chain
- Can thoroughly analyse performance, drive growth, and collaborate with Sales & Marketing to succeed
- Are fluent in English
