Are you up for developing and executing the Global Cold Drinks Category Strategy in the fastest growing business unit in Arla? This is an unique opportunity to be part of the Milk Based Beverages journey to build the future of brands such as Starbucks RTD license and deliver a strong portfolio, sustainability and innovation strategy across our strategic brands.

 

You will join a Global Marketing team collaborating closely with the markets and our commercial teams to create and deliver a winning category strategy, at our Aarhus headquarter office. You excel in consumer and shopper understanding, category and retailer thinking and will play a key role setting the direction for our new and existing beverage brands” says Innovation and Portfolio Director for Milk Based Beverages, Daniel Morales-Gonzalez.

 

How you will make an impact

In the job you will focus on further developing and executing our global drinks category strategy and sustainability agenda. You will:

  • Develop a shopper and consumer centric category strategy
  • Develop initiatives to drive growth and focus of our category across markets
  • Develop new global RTD platforms within existing and new brands
  • Generate insights for our innovation pipeline across the category
  • Lead and execute great innovations that reflect the market needs and excite both customers, shoppers and consumers
  • Work in a close collaboration with Commercial, Brand, Innovation, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance and Market Research teams            

 

You will showcase best practice within category and portfolio management and lead the global category forum securing that the right products will reach and excite our customers and consumers.

 

What will make you successful

You come with relevant experience from a similar position within the FMCG industry. Further, you:

  • have Trade Marketing Experience, with deep understand of shoppers and retailers

  • are commercially savvy and results-oriented with a track record of successfully driving brand / category development that makes a positive change for the business. 
  • are comfortable working with performance, market and consumer data. And translate into insights to drive the growth of our brands or category.
  • thrive in cross functional teams and are able to simplify complexity in order to enable swift decisions from stakeholders.

 

On a personal level, you have a strong combination of strategic thinking and are able to breakdown complexity and trigger solution oriented thinking. In line with this, building strong relationships with markets and stakeholders comes natural to you.  You get energy from creativity and collaboration, and have confidence to set directions across functions and with external partners or agencies.  You  are motivated by working with Global brands such as Starbucks.
