Global Quality & Food Safety Specialist - Viby

We are part of our Global QEHS team and are based at our HQ in Viby, in Sweden and the UK.

How will you make an impact

Our main tasks in the Team are to work with development of  mandatory standards, guidelines, trainings and tools to create direction on Quality & Food Safety in Arla. We make it work by long term collaborations with others and by giving support to sites directly as well as to other colleagues. We do work in close collaboration with many other departments to ensure alignment.

As our new colleague you will be part of developing our Quality and Food Safety Culture in Arla through development of standards, training material and learning sessions, but also by organizing data and information needed for reporting and documentation.

Tasks include administrative and technical tasks linked to internal audits of Head Quarter functions, Culture Surveys, QEHS Campaigns, Audit and Certification overviews, Document management and Training & Learning modules.

The role is primarily office-based, with the flexibility to work from home occasionally. However, you must be prepared to travel to our global sites and suppliers as needed. While travel arrangements will always be agreed upon in advance, there may be instances where short notice is required.

What will make you successful

• To thrive in the role as Global Quality & Food Safety Specialist , we believe you have:
• A Master’s degree in dairy science, food science, technology or equivalent
• Preferably 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in the food industry and with experience in working operational to make things happen
• Experience as a trained internal auditor and familiarity with GFSI standards such as FSSC, IFS, and/or BRC would be beneficial
• Understanding of the importance of data and documentation for food safety and product quality
• Like to work with others, but also like to work individually with administrative tasks
  
  

Furthermore, we believe you are systematic, fact-based, and driven by continuous improvements with a LEAN mindset. We see that you have excellent communication skills and ability to navigate a matrix organization and that you have high proficiency in English; proficiency in Danish, Swedish, or German is preferred.
