About the job

As our new Global Digital Media Strategist, you will manage the digital media planning, strategy and reporting activity globally and across our many brands for both bought, owned, and earned media. You will work closely with the Digital Media Strategy Lead, internal and external stakeholders, and Insight functions, to ensure a digital media first approach to creative execution. You will help develop media approaches and overall strategies for Arla’s brands, support digital roadmaps and establish partnerships and ways-of-working across functions.

While exploring new media partnerships and working on implementation of the new media strategies, you will:

  • Develop tactical digital media plans and recommendations with creative and data&tech team.
  • Work with insights & brand tracking in the digital media planning process,
  • Analysing past performance with digital media specialist and recommend general changes to maximize future campaign performance.
  • Develop cross-market learning loops and consolidate results to strengthen creative production.
  • Have an audience first approach to building relevant communication. 
  • Help develop digital consumer journeys and audience understanding.
  • Own digital test and learn agenda on our global brands.

Who are you?
With a strong creative mind for digital media planning, you are able to continuously develop and explore new digital media possibilities. With a go-getter attitude, high level of pro-activeness and persistence you will have the ability to create media strategies while navigating and working in an international matrix organization, with many internal and external stakeholders.

You will work cross functionally and your ability to translate strategic objectives into digital engagement tactics and media plans will be highly useful. Moreover, you have strong communication skills, allowing you to translate and share your digital media knowledge with a broad range of audiences, including brands, leaders and creatives.

You also bring:

  • Solid experience from a similar role within a digital agency, trade desk, media agency or other advertisers.
  • While education is not important, experience and drive are highly valued. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of experience working with digital media, focused on planning and strategy.
  • The ability to translate data and numbers to insights.
  • Knowledge into digital ad eco system is a plus (Analytics, DSPs, etc.)
  • Great stakeholder management skills
  • Proficient in English
