Identify the commercial opportunities to drive our business forward
Based in Aarhus and reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing Finance, this is a great opportunity to become a part of a dynamic Finance team.
Your main priority will be to become a trusted business partner to the retail Customer and Channel development team, where you from day 1 will be a core member contributing on a wide range of tasks. Key focus is to drive the commercial agenda and identifying the global business opportunities in this area.
You will have a broad set of responsibilities including:
- Business partner to the Customer and Channel development team working across all Arla markets, with a focus on our core EU business
- Building and continuously improving and maintaining strong data foundations (eg. in power-bi) by combining different data sources to create a strong foundation for analysis
- Perform deep dive analysis to create insight and identifying commercial opportunities
- Make recommendations for actions to exploit the business opportunities coming from the trends within customers and channels, eg. discounter channel development
- Coordinate and work closely with broad range of internal stakeholders (pricing, customer teams, commercial finance)
- Active member and key contributor to several cross market and global forums, focusing on retail customer opportunities
Strong analytical business skills and a true relationship builder
As a true relationship builder, you use your proactive stakeholder management skills as you work globally with our different regions and markets. With your strong cooperative nature, you take on the different types of task – from the deep dives into data to being a strategic advisor on customer and channels topics. You are capable of balancing networking with a clear focus on execution and progress on our operational agenda, always with focus on value creation for our farmer owners.
You have a well-developed commercial mindset and strong interest and a proven track record of being a trusted finance business partner in an international environment. In addition we imagine you have
- A Master’s degree in economics and business administration, commercial and retail management or similar combined with 5 years of finance experience from a commercially driven business environment (FMCG a plus)
- Demonstrated solid financial and business analytical skills, turning insights into actions and recommendations
- Experience within Sales Finance, performing both operational hands-on, tactical as well as strategic tasks
- Ambitious, proactive approach to work, high self-drive and willingness to always try
- Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, and a firm tool box on communication, presentation and spread sheet work
- Effective communication skills, including fluency in English
- Keen eye for detail together with the ability to understand the big picture
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
To be a success, you must enjoy dealing with changing priorities and working with stakeholders at various managerial levels in a fast and dynamic matrix environment. Moreover, you work independently and with persistence to create results and progress on our ambitious operational agendas.
