Finance Business Partner, Global Industrial Sales and Trading - Aarhus

Join the Global Trading and Planning Finance (GTP Finance) team as our new Finance Business Partner and contribute to shaping Arla’s commercial and resource allocation strategy globally.

How you will make an impact
This is a unique opportunity to become a key part of a high-impact finance team supporting the Global Industrial Sales and Trading (GIST) area—responsible for approx. 25–30% of Arla’s milk pool. As Finance Business Partner, you will report to the Head of GTP Finance and act as a strategic advisor to the VP Global Industry Sales and Trading, sales directors and managers. You will play a vital role in both operational and strategic financial activities, ensuring timely, accurate, and value-adding insights that drive decisions and optimize performance.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Leading financial performance processes, including month-end closing, forecasting, and proactive communication of business insights to the GTP team and key stakeholders across Global Trading.
• Owning and safeguarding the Trading P&L, ensuring integrity across systems and financial interfaces (including supply chain costs), and resolving any financial discrepancies or system-related challenges.
• Driving commercial insights and performance tracking by developing benchmarks, conducting price management and COGS analyses, and delivering regular reporting on price statistics and Trading product performance.
• Supporting strategic and operational improvement projects, such as enhancing Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and Days Inventory Outstanding (DIO), and strengthening overall trading efficiency.
• Managing internal and external price benchmarking to ensure competitiveness and alignment with market dynamics.

We imagine you have:

• A background in Finance, Economics or similar—possibly combined with experience from FMCG, consulting, or a retail environment
• Strong business acumen and an analytical, proactive mindset
• Advanced Excel and BI capabilities, and experience with tools like SAP and PowerPoint
• An ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• High ambition, strong ownership, and a desire to drive change and performance
