Finance Analyst, International Reporting and Performance Management - Viby

How you will make an impact
As our new Finance Analyst your main responsibility will be to secure a relevant, accurate, and timely reporting to multiple management teams within International. Furthermore, you will support the performance management agenda which is at the heart of finance in Arla Foods.

In this central role as Finance Analyst, you will be exposed to all regions and markets across International where you will get a sense of Arla’s truly global reach and business – from China in the East to USA & Canada in the West.

The role will be based in Aarhus, Denmark and reporting to the Vice President of Arla International Finance. You will become part of a dynamic and international finance team where collaboration and support is key.

More specifically, your task will be to:

• Perform ongoing financial reporting in primarily Power BI – incl. report development and optimisation – to support decision-making at any time
• Support the performance management agenda around month-end closing, forecasting, cost management, annual target setting etc.
• Prepare razor sharp analyses and presentations for senior management
• Participate in specific reporting-related initiatives within the finance area in close collaboration with International’s six business regions and act as an active sparring partner for these
• Perform ad hoc tasks to support an ever-changing environment

What will make you successful
You have a Master in Finance or similar combined with a couple of years of experience from a finance role with solid knowledge about Power BI. Alternatively, you are just about to graduate this summer and are ready for your first full-time position.

Most important is that you are a quick learner, thorough, and that you are willing to move fast. As you will be working with a number of different stakeholders, you need to have a strong cooperative nature, solid communication skills, and an appetite on working in an international business environment.

Furthermore, you are always willing to take up news tasks – from complex ones to very hands-on day-to-day tasks. As a true relationship builder you are capable of balancing networking with a clear focus on execution and progress on our operational agendas. And not least, you have a firm technical toolbox with excellent skills in Excel and preferably also Power BI.
