E-commerce Specialist - Aarhus

About the job

You will be working with RESTful APIs for server side functionality, development on AZURE, and Unit Testing. You will also be working to build cross browser compatibility utilizing web content management systems, Javascript frameworks, DevOps, and Azure SQL Server. In Viby, you will join the “Commercial” Agile Release Train within IT Solutions department. You are part of an agile  team with different roles around E-commerne and related development solutions. More specifically, your responsibilities include:


  • Work on building cross browser compatibility applications using SASS & JavaScript
  • Develop E-commerce related Web Content Management Systems using EPiServer CMS, and Commerce
  • Use front-end Javascript-Frameworks and Azure SQL Server
  • Contribute in regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades and new releases
  • Provide and assist with training of business teams utilizing E-commerce developments
  • Participate in gathering business requirements for service cloud implementation
  • Participate and provide expertise in process design discussions related to complex business requirements
  • Handle administrative functions including reports and dashboards, work-flows and other routine tasks
  • DevOps with Azure repos, pipelines, releases, boards, and sprints
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.
  • Validate developments and perform QA to ensure requirements are met
  • Share and recommend best practice approaches to meet business needs



Who are you?

You either have some experience as an E-commerce Specialist or have experience/education with focus on IT development/delivery. You are interested in technology– keen to build and grow your skillset within the E-commerce development team. You have a global mindset, ability to work effectively in a culturally diverse work group often in a virtual work environment. Your motivation is adding business value via technology. You are capable of working independently as good as with the team. Furthermore you have:


  • Preferably a master degree within Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering or Business
  • Strong English skills is a must have, Scandinavian or German language skills is a bonus.
  • Preferably Strong understanding of E-commerce development and related capabilities with the ability to clearly communicate those to business partners
  • Preferably experience in working with agile methodology would be a plus
