Digital Transformation Lead in the Global Transformation Management Office - Viby

If you are motivated by shaping and driving many different initiatives related to digital transformation with many different stakeholders, you could be our new transformation lead.


Shaping and driving initiatives

We are a small team responsible for accelerating the digital transformation through many different initiatives spanning from how can we upskill all employees on digital over how to we ensure that we handle data as a valuable asset to how can digital technology be used to accelerate our sustainability agenda at farm plus everything in between. Our role is to drive alignment and coordination across the many initiatives and help shaping and driving the initiatives, where needed. The actual daily execution of the initiatives will be the responsibility of different zones and functions in Arla as the overall strategy is that the digital is driven in the normal line of business and not in a separate function.


Your role will be to our “owner/driver” of one or more initiatives and in collaboration with the relevant stakeholders to ensure that the initiatives are shaped and driven to success. Each initiatives will be different and your role in each of the initiatives will also be different, which means that you should be able to shape your own role to provide most possible value. To be successful in the role you should have strong program/project management capabilities, practical experience with agile ways of work and software development coupled with an engaging and passionate leadership style/personality allowing you to succeed in a close collaboration with colleagues.


Strong executer with a winning personality

You have at least 5 years of experience with driving initiatives/change in a IT/digital context. We are looking for a profile, who can combine strategic and analytic thinking with strong execution. The following competences are key to succeed in the role:


  • High engagement and drive to challenge status quo and come up with ambitious solutions
  • Solid experience with drive projects/programs/transformations at scale
  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills as you will drive collaboration across different functions, locations and cultures
  • Problem solving including the ability to quickly understand a new problem space
  • Experience with software development and agile ways of working
  • Sufficient technical insight to quickly understand challenges and opportunities with existing and new technology
  • Skilled communicator – written and verbally
  • English is of course a must
