Digital Data Manager - Aarhus

Digital marketing is a fast-developing business area within Arla, and data is one of the areas that will play a bigger role for us in the future. Therefore, in this role you will have plenty of opportunity to influence this ambitious digital journey, and help win the data agenda.

 

Help set the direction for our digital marketing ambitions

As our new Data Manager, you will join a team of 6 digital specialists, and also work close to an even larger number of digital specialist in our inhouse agency, The Barn. You’ll work from our office in Aarhus. Here, our mission is to connect our strong brands with our consumers, and to take advantage of the digital possibilities across solutions, tech, marketing, media, content, data, social, and much more. We also work close with many other stakeholders in Arla, e.g. with our sales department on our ambitious e-commerce agenda.

 

In the position, you will help us reach the next level on data. Your starting point in this is your analytical skills, where you will analyze different data sources from different systems and turn them into actionable insights, and executable actions. In this, it is a big advantage, if you have experience in working with marketing automation tools, so that you are able to set up consumer flows across media and channels, and also to personalize the experience based on data. If you are also an excellent writer or have the skills of a graphic designer, this is certain an extra plus, but not a requirement.

 

In this job you will:

  • Be working on our data strategy, and set up different pilots on how to extract value from data in Arla.
  • Help Arla build stronger consumer connections, while at the same time building stronger relations to our customers.
  • Be responsible for the consistent reporting and analysis of data in order to track and increase our digital marketing performance.
  • Make recommendations based on the actionable insights you produce, making digital marketing decisions more consumer-centric.
  • Turn data into executional actions, and set up the right, creative flows for our consumers.
  • Create personalized consumer experiences while maintaining a broad reach in our target groups.
  • Monitor online trends and define and manage digital KPIs together with key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with local as well as global colleagues and external stakeholders such as media agencies and technology distributors to design digital solutions that meet business as well as consumer demands.
  • Be the project lead on certain digital projects.
  • Have different ad-hoc tasks.

Digital marketing profile with solid stakeholder management skills

As you will be working in a complex stakeholder environment, your collaboration and communications skills are essential for your success. Moreover, you know how to keep a cool head and prioritize between different interests and demands, while being a valued external partner to our customers. With your ambitious approach and natural drive, you are not afraid to challenge status quo and to take ownership of our digital marketing agenda.

 

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • Have an MA, an MSc in economics and business administration or information technology or similar, but most importantly, you have the experience and abilities to couple digital analytics and data with business.
  • Have 2-5 years of experience with analytics/performance marketing, and it is a plus if you have experience with managing large digital projects.
  • Have experience with Excel and web analytics and great presentation skills.

In the digital department, we work with many different digital tasks. Therefore, we might be able to give you the chance to also get your hands on other tasks than those described above. Maybe you have a passion for SEO? Maybe for SEM? Or maybe for something third.
