Customer Operations & Development Intern - Aarhus

Are you studying a Master’s in Commercial and Retail Management at Aarhus University – and would you like to get hands on experience, working with Arla’s Commercial activities across Europe? Then you might be exactly who we are looking for. 

 

About the position
As an Intern, you will take part in Arla’s European Commercial Operations, supporting projects reaching across teams and boarders. We’re searching for more interns to support a variety of European projects. In each project, you will get first-hand experience with both strategic- and operational tasks.

 

The projects include:

  • Net Revenue Management (NRM), where you will be part of the rollout of NRM across the European zone.
    • NRM is a framework that leads the commercial agenda and maximises value for our products.
    • You will work with responding to shopper insights that provide occasions for our products to serve, support decisions on brand or private label, pack format,  and ultimately the price and promotional strategy.
    • You will support developing go-to-market strategies for our products, to provide consumers with the right products at the right price to maximise category value.
       
  • eCommerce,  where you will be to be part of the eCommerce Acceleration Team supporting our strategy amd growth ambitions across Europe.
    • You will gain insights to the ecommerce landscape, including eGrocers bricks and mortar, pureplayers, eB2B and D2C.
    • You will support monitoring and tracking our sales metrics and KPI’s for the ecommerce team, be using Digital Shelf Analytics to gain insights on shopper journey mapping and brand /product presentation.
    • You will support making winning A+ content for our brands, ensuring Arla wins across the digital shelf.
       
  • Channel Development, where you will be part of setting our International discounter strategy across the European market.
    • You will be working with the sales leads in each country on Lidl and Aldi, managing our growth opportunities, capturing new routes to the market.
    • You help ensure that Arla is where the shopper is buying their groceries. The discount channel has consistently outperformed growth in groceries the past years and with the current economic challenges across Europe this will continue to attract shoppers.


Who are you?

You are studying a MSc in Commercial and Retail Management at Aarhus BSS and will start your internship in Autumn 2021, where you’ll be working 30-37 hours/week.
