Customer & Channel Specialist, Commercial Europe - Viby or remote (maternity cover)

Location:

Viby J, DK Duesseldorf, DE RJ Nijkerk, NL Soederkulla, FI Leeds, GB Solna, SE

We are currently looking for a proactive and analytical Customer & Channel Specialist to support our Customer and Channel development team across European markets. This is a temporary position covering a maternity leave for 10 months.

How you will make an impact

As a Customer & Channel Specialist in the Customer & Channel development team, you will play a key role in supporting our commercial teams through data analysis, coordination of key forums, as well as contributing to customer presentations. This role provides a great opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with significant exposure across the organization, as you will be in regular contact with colleagues across both Eurozone & International markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cross-market retail analysis across a variety of sources (Nielsen, IGD, Euromonitor etc.) leveraging key insights to support presentations & internal decision-making
  • Take shared ownership of the Arla Sales Accelerator programme
  • Collect and consolidate input from various European markets to support decision making
  • Own and manage the ComEx SharePoint site maintaining the organisation and the accessibility of key materials

For this role, you can be based in any of our European markets; Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, The Netherlands or UK. Due to Brexit implications, we are, however, restricted on what is possible for candidates that are UK based. Here, people can of course consider relocating.

What will make you successful

We seek a well-organized individual with strong project coordination skills who can work effectively within a cross-functional, international team setting. Additionally, you should be curious and eager to learn, excel at building relationships, and thrive in a role that involves collaborating with a variety of stakeholders. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders, are also essential for this position. Besides this, we expect that you bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field
  • Preferably a few years of experience in sales, customer management, or channel development within an FMCG or retail environment
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis (Nielsen or similar tools preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint

What We Offer

We are committed to professional development and promoting from within. This temporary assignment is an exciting opportunity to get exposure to key Eurozone and International markets and might lead to other interesting roles in our organisation or support your further growth. You will be working on impactful projects, honing key commercial skills.
