About the job

The programme was an industry first and this role will play a key part in its future development.

In this varied role you will work closely with colleagues in the sustainability, agriculture, sales and marketing teams. Specific areas of responsibility:

  • Develop and lead a common communication strategy and plan in close collaboration with key internal stakeholders
  • Develop relevant and timely content for both internal and external owned channels, including reports for customers, and messages for media and farmer owners
  • Specify the communication requirements of a new IT solution for the customer programme
  • Work with commercial colleagues to develop communication packs for customers, including Q&As, key messages and proof points
  • Coordinate communication across markets to ensure a level of consistency in our communication while allowing specific market conditions to be addressed
  • As this is a new role, you will have the opportunity to develop the role further in line with the evolution of the programme and the communication needs

Who are you?

Our ideal candidate is a talented communication professional that matches the following:

  • At least three years’ work experience in a communications, sales or marketing role
  • Proven experience of developing engaging content and copy for traditional media and digital channels, including websites.
  • Strong collaborator both within own team and with other stakeholders
  • Ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines and multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-starter and people person with a drive to reach out, build relations and the ability to act as a trusted advisor
  • Ambitious and eager to continuously develop own skills
  • Fluent written and verbal skills in English

In addition to being a highly skilled communicator, you can grasp nuances in the business and turn them into engaging communication for Arla. You have sound judgement and are used to navigating at all levels in a large, complex organization.

What do we offer?

A fantastic opportunity for a communication professional who is keen to dive into the world of sustainability communications and be one of the front runners on how businesses can develop commercial partnerships that deliver action and value.
