As PR & Communication Manager in Arla Foods’ Danish & Global Communication Department you will plan and execute agenda-setting public relation (PR) activities for Arla in Denmark.

How you will make an impact

In this maternity cover, you take the lead and ownership of Arla’s PR activities in Denmark on brands, health, sustainability, and general business topics and issues. Together with the team and our PR-agencies, you will work to tell compelling stories about Arla in Danish press that focus to promote awareness and inspire belief in Arla and dairy.

Being a part of the Arla Denmark & Global Communication team you will play a central role in the whole organisation and will work closely with different multifunctional stakeholders in and outside the business.

You will further:

•Drive the PR strategy for Arla Denmark supporting the relevant business agendas.

•Develop and execute PR and MarCom strategies in corporation with brand managers to proactively enhance reputation.

•Drive and ensure a close collaboration with our PR agencies, as well as collaborate across the Danish and Global Communication team to get the message covered in the right channels.

•Handle press requests and take turn on the seven-day-a-week press office phone.

You will have reference to the Head of Press for Arla Denmark & Group and collaborate across Corporate Communication and the Danish commercial organisation.

What will make you successful

We are looking for a talented PR & Communications Manager with:

•A theoretical background as a journalist or in a communications-related field, combined with solid, relevant experience as a business journalist or communications adviser.

•Strong collaborator both in internal multifunctional teams and with external agencies and partners.

•Proven work experience in public relations or communications roles, and previous experience with generating impactful PR campaigns.

•You have an interest in and ability to develop, plan and execute content through the press.

•Experience in supporting a commercial organisation understanding what drives MarCom and strong brands.

In addition to being a highly skilled communicator, you can easily grasp nuances in a complicated, global dairy market and turn them into engaging communication for Arla. You have sound judgement and are used to navigate at all levels in an organisation. Finally we expect strong planning skills and a self-driven approach to the tasks.
