You will play a central role in Arla Foods Industry Products & Milk Value within Global Planning & Trading. We handle products for the industrial segment, used in a wide range of categories - from reconstituted dairy products to infant and sports nutrition and chocolate/confectionery.

How you will make an impact

As our Chief Specialist Product Manager, you translate customer needs into technical specifications and ensure quality and manufacturability. With an end-to-end mindset, you will collaborate with skilled specialists across Arla to meet the demands of a competitive market. Based in Viby, you will join a team of 10 experienced colleagues with strong commercial and technical competences across product and category management, business development, and project management.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop the product portfolio, technical specifications, and application requirements in close collaboration with customers, Sales, Supply Chain and QEHS
• Drive value through new product offerings and/or efficiency initiatives
• Participate in site and sales meetings to uncover requirements and specifications
• Collaborate with sales on both operational and strategic initiatives
• Partner with our sites and Innovation Centre on product benchmarking and performance

You should expect regular visits to our production sites in Sweden, Germany, the UK, and Denmark.

What makes you successful

You are able to communicate complex topics effectively and bring an open-minded, holistic approach with strong stakeholder engagement at all levels. You are experienced in matrix organisations, cooperative by nature, and a strong sparring partner across the value chain—from production to customer—while thriving with flexible working locations. With solid commercial understanding, you act as the link between production and customers. You are solution-oriented and analytically strong, with attention to detail and the ability to conclude clearly.

In addition, you:

• Hold a technical degree, ideally an MSc in food/dairy science, engineering, or a related field
• Bring experience from the food, ingredients, or dairy industry
• Possess solid project management skills
• Ideally have a few years’ experience in production, R&D, or a relevant technical support function—though strong new graduates are also welcome
• Are fluent in English; German and Danish are an advantage
