Business Development Manager - Aarhus

Become part of the international production team

You will be part of the international production team that is responsible for strategy development and execution of our global supply chain with direct report to Lars Sylvest Vestergaard, Vice President International Production, and will work closely with senior leaders across the business in one of Denmark’s largest companies.


You will be co-responsible  together  with  Site  Manager  for the vitality of  the  site  OneCi  funnel  securing  a healthy pipeline and transformation of ideas into building blocks and forecast and completion. Furthermore, it is within your area to connect strategy with execution for the business unit, involving major strategic or tactical initiatives in close cooperation with the Business Leadership in order to translate financial reporting into definitive priorities and target setting, and act as point of contact between support function and business critical function and as a trusted financial advisor, providing transparency, clarity and helping set the direction.

Your responsibilities will also be to:


  • Facilitate the development of action plans to ensure the delivery of strategic targets
  • Drive the performance dialogues to create actions and initiatives that can be measured on a specific outcome as well as investment decisions and business case preparation
  • Participate in driving business processes’ optimization through providing insights and ensuring decisions are made based on data and financial facts
  • Contributes to alignment and consistency of the reporting and follow up to financial performance
  • Contribute and drive delivery on global projects that impact own business unit
  • Secure long term sustainability of the improvements, building a culture of coaching and process confirmation
  • Participate in project activities like roll-outs and boost activities
  • Drive business optimization and CAPEX projects, and lead the execution of business plans
  • Anchors firm-wide priorities and programs
  • Establish, optimize, interpret and deliver KPI scorecard, in accordance with demand from and collaboration with stakeholders while working closely with sites and other linked departments


Who are you?

You are a passionate project manager, driven by result and ambition. Your strategic mindset and project management experience, combined with your stakeholder management skills, enable you to lead projects independently and get all relevant stakeholders onboard.



  • You have a relevant degree at Master’s level, e.g. within business, finance, logistic
  • You have several years’ of business development experience within supply chain
  • You have strong experience within project management of complex, cross-functional pro-jects
  • You have a strategic mindset and knows how to scope the projects to focus on critical tasks.
  • You are a team player with excellent stakeholder management capabilities and knows how to create followership across team members, stakeholders and senior leaders.
  • You are fluent in English
