The ESG area is under rapid development with extensive EU reporting regulation on its way to align reporting across companies. In this role, you'll utilize your analytical skills to interpret new EU requirements (CSRD) and translate them into tangible actions for Arla’s annual report. You'll be part of a team committed to producing a strong annual report, continuously focusing on improvements, and playing an instrumental role in ensuring Arla's readiness to comply with CSRD by 2025. A proactive and structured associate manager

In this role, the focus is on ensuring quality in ESG data processes and collaborating with external auditors. Candidates with finance or audit backgrounds and a passion for sustainability are ideal. With evolving EU regulations like CSRD, you'll interpret requirements and apply them in Arla’s annual report. Responsibilities

As an ESG Associate Manager, you will:

• Deliver auditable data for the annual report, linking it to financial data and the report's narrative.
• Develop project plans and communicate CSRD progress to stakeholders and senior management.
• Oversee sustainability content to support Arla’s journey.
• Foster cooperation with external auditors.
• Advise business functions on data collection and control processes.
• Enhance internal reporting, improve data quality, and implement control systems.
• Monitor ESG reporting best practices.

Qualifications

You hold a Master’s degree in economics, accounting, international business, or similar. You have some years of experience in auditing, ESG or financial reporting. You excel in project management, maintaining a comprehensive overview, and managing stakeholder relations across the organization. Proactive problem-solving and delivering high-quality work, even during fast-paced periods, define your approach to working. Naturally, you speak and write English fluently.
