Associate Group Tax Manager/Group Tax Manager - Aarhus

Based at Arla’s headquarters in Aarhus, you will be integrated into the central Group Tax team as well as Arla’s larger Global Tax team, which is comprised of 14 specialists across 5 countries. You will play a pivotal role in driving progress and shaping the future capabilities of the tax department. Depending on your background and experience, the seniority level of the role will be tailored.

Your main responsibilities include: 

• Leading Danish direct tax compliance efforts, ensuring all filing requirements are met.
• Collaborating with accounting teams on tax accounting, forecasting, and reporting for both Danish and Group-wide financials.
• Maintaining and improving tax governance and control frameworks, and liaising with tax authorities, auditors, and external advisors.
• Continuously improving tax controlling and reporting processes.
• Providing high-quality tax advice and acting as the first contact point for various tax matters independently.

What makes you successful?

You’re ready to bring your expertise in direct tax and tax accounting to a dynamic global organization. Ideally, you:

• Hold a master’s degree in accounting, tax, finance, or a related field.
• Have at least 3 years of relevant experience, whether in-house or in consulting (tax/audit).
• Possess in-depth knowledge of Danish corporate income tax compliance, tax accounting, and preferably international corporate taxation.
• Are fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken.
• Enjoy using digital tools and systems, and are eager to learn more; experience with SAP or other financial reporting systems is a plus.
