The Barn is Arla’s in-house agency. We were created in 2019 to help Arla’s global and local brands win in a world of increasing media complexity. Our growth and success have been tremendous, and today we have a dedicated team specializing in creative development, strategy and planning, tech and data, media buying and production.  


We work acrossmarkets with 40+ brands from Lurpak®, Castello® and Starbucks® to Danish icons such as Cocio and Kærgården. We have 130+colleagues from everywhere in between the Philippines, France, and Argentina. And we have just begun. ​Wehave our hands in every step of the process, from business planning for ourbrands, campaign strategy to creative executions.  


One of our colleagues will soon be going on maternity leave, and we are, therefore, seeking a new team member to join us for 12 months. 


How you will make an impact 
In this role as Associate Account Lead, you will join the Account Management team and help to build and strengthen our relationship with our brand teams, while collaborating across teams in The Barn to deliver best-in-class creative campaigns.  This means that you’ll work on a daily basis with brand managers in Arla, but also with our planning, media, creative, production and project management teams in The Barn. 

As an Associate Account Lead you will take lead on 1-3 smaller brands, and you will assist a Senior Account Lead on some larger projects for some of our largest brands – providing a great learning and growth opportunity!  For the smaller brands that you take lead on, you’ll be managing the day-to-day relationship with those brands: strategic sparring on their plans, collaborating with them on briefs, and working with them from brief to delivery on the projects they run with The Barn throughout the year. 


How you will be successful 
As an Associate Account Lead, you have 2-4 years of experience either from the agency side in account management or the client side in a brand management role. It might also be that you are just graduating this summer, but in that case, you will need to have relevant experience from student jobs and/or internships. It’s a big plus if some of your experience exposed you to brand strategy and creative development. 


You possess a range of core abilities: 

  • You take initiative and are proactive. When you have a question, you take it on yourself to try to find the answer. If you see that something could be done better or smarter, you try to make the change happen. 
  • You’re outgoing and a good communicator. You communicate clearly both verbally and written.  You are fluent in English. 
  • You are ambitious, eager to learn and have a can-do attitude  
  • You’re flexible and always willing to jump into something new. You don’t get phased if what you worked on yesterday is different than what you’re working on today. 
  • You see the big picture, but you’re also detail oriented. You like to take a step back and see the larger objective or goal, but at the same time you can go through a long powerpoint deck and catch all the small errors.
